World Tour - July 2005
(Click on the pictures for a larger view)

July 3, 2005 - Thierry, Myself, Bob, and Jeremiah after completing the James Dalton Highway.  It really was worth the trip and I could not have asked for better riding companions.

Thierry made the morning tea, Bob was mister-fixit, Jeremiah had great technical advice, and I got to enjoy the ride.  Thanks guys!

After some work and rest in Fairbanks Jeremiah had to go a different route. Thierry, Bob, and I headed south to Denali National Park.

You can view better better pictures of Denali National Park on my Alaska Cruise 2005 page.

Exit Glacier at Kenai Fjords National Park - the glaciers are massive and amazing to look at.

The view on the way to Seward and Homer.

Some of the interesting things to see in Homer, Alaska.

After Seward and Homer, the three of us continued to Anchorage where we split up.  Thierry and Bob had to catch the ferry to Vancouver and I had to begin my ride south to the lower 48 states.

At the end of July I am in a friends wedding so I have to get moving to North Carolina before I can continue my world tour.

The Motorcycle Shop in Anchorage, Alaska.  These guys were amazing.  They were very, very busy but they made arrangements for everyone who came in to have a workspace and allowed them to work on their own bikes in their parking lot.

The gave great technical advice and help, and all the tools you needed to keep you on the road.  These guys were fantastic!

More glaciers north of Anchorage.

Riding along highway 1 outside of Anchorage - I believe this is Mount Marcus Baker (13,176 ft.).

One way to keep control of speeders and lawbreakers when you don't have enough police - decoys.  There are a few of these along the Alaska Highway.

My first decent bear picture.  Still not a very good picture, he was very camera shy.

The Cassiar Highway headed south out of the Yukon Territory!

The views along the Cassiea Highway in Canada were amazing!

The Alaska Highway was nice but the Cassiar Highway was a really nice road if you are looking to get away from the crowds.

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - Vancouver was just a quick stop to get some work done on my brakes.

International Peace Arch Park on the boarder between Canada and the United States.

Entering the United States of America after my ride through Canada.

Downtown Seattle, Washington.

The nightlife was a lot of fun in downtown Seattle.  A fire dancer at Contours Nightclub.

The farmers market in downtown Seattle.  Lots of fish...

fresh fruits and vegetables...

entertainment...
