My first meal in Mexico - at a little
taco stand in El Rosario.

My first look a the Gulf of
California.

Some of the fantastic roads in Baja
California.

It pays to be alert! Horses,
Cows, Dogs, Children are all 'free range'
animals in Baja California.

My first evening in La Paz.
|
|

Eating dinner at Rancho Viejo with a
new friend Kevin. Rancho Viejo has the best tacos
(and beer) you will ever have anywhere in La
Paz.
Kevin was a fantastic help.
Not only did he give us the grand tour of La Paz and the
surrounding area, he let me stay at his home and let us
all know that we are welcome anytime - I can't thank him
enough.

Cafe Exquisito Malecon in La Paz.
Great view, great coffee and free wireless internet.

Allan Karl - One of 2 riders I ran
into in La Paz that are going to Ushuaia, Tierra Del
Fuego (the other is Lana Lowe - pictured with the
Mexican Police below & pictures #3 & #4 top right).
Like myself, Allan is continuing his tour around
the world after Ushuaia. You can follow Allan's
travels at
http://www.worldrider.com/.

The local kids in La Paz get a kick
out of the tourists and take a moment to 'ham it up' for
the camera.

The waterfront of La Paz.
|
|

La Paz - a great place to catch a
sunset.
|
|

Todo Santos - standing in front of THE
Hotel California (made famous from The Eagles song of
the same name).

small town of Todo Santos getting ready for a festival.

The
little taco/surf hang out in the small town of Todo Santos
where we had lunch.
|

Lana Lowe - pictured here with the
Mexican Police is also riding to Ushuaia, Tierra Del
Fuego - You can follow Lana's adventures at
http://www.lowerider.ca.
One great thing about Lana - when she
is around the Mexico Police Officials don't even bother
with me, they give her their undivided attention.

If you want a great
steak when you visit La Paz, Buffalo Bar-B-Q is the
place to go.
