Finally out of the canyon a local was nice enough to give me a ride back to Creel, Mexico.

Getting my bike out of Copper Canyone a day later with the help of some new friends that owned a few pick-up trucks and a tow turck.

All tied down and ready for my journey back to the USA. 

I and my motorcycle got dropped off in El Paso, TX.  From there I rented a U-Haul and dropped my motorcycle with a friend -  the owner of Iron Horse, BMW, Tucson, AZ.  Two months later my ride is as good as new.

My final memory of my time in Mexico - having lunch at a roadside stand.  Not the journey I expected - it did not last as long as I hoped - but, definitely a journey I will never forget. 

I look forward to returning to Mexico and I plan on riding to the tip of South America in the future.  For now it will have to wait.  My plans have changed and I will be riding around Europe in 2007.  See you then!
